Dark Moon Group: Maeve

The Dark Moon group has a number of members but it always works out to be a small group.  The lighting is subdued and activities on the quiet side.  From 7:00pm to 7:30 join us to light candles in the Cauldron of Candles and have conversation.  After 7:30 we will learn more about the goddess of the month and what about her is “dark”.  And what about that Darkness we can learn from for our own lives.  All are welcome even if you have never attended or never been to a Covenant of the River event.

However you spell it, in Irish, English or other language,  Maeve is a great goddess for the month of May.  Powerful and strong, the goddess of fertility, of love, of war and death.   Some claim that she was a human queen of great power, other claim that she is a great fae or a goddess.    Maybe she was or is all of those things.   Fierce and independent, she doesn’t put up with shenaningans.   And she’s not above stealing your cows if she needs to.    Come find out more.

Council Open Hours*

From 7pm to 9pm  Council will be in the Hall, hanging out, waiting to see whoever stops by.  Have some questions?  Need some face time?  Never been here and you want to check out the space on an informal, less busy night?  Open Hours is the place to be.  Council wanted to find a time where we could be available for this casual time with whoever needs it so usually, on the first Friday of the month, the three of us are in the Hall waiting for YOU to stop by.  There is nothing planned, no program or speaker, no ritual.  You can stay for five minutes or stay the full two hours, whatever you need.

Please park on Swallow at 901 E Swallow and make your way around to the far side of the garage.  Enter through the yellow door.  We look forward to seeing you and to meeting new people!
