More Information

It seems like there is always something new to announce and remind folks about. It seems like the Home Page should be a great place for it. But soon it’s running down the page and looking cluttered so we are hoping to link to this page for more information.

There’s a lot of new stuff on the website to check out. Camping! Yard Sales! Sanctuary Care Days! Park Clean up days! You can access information about all of these things on the main menu by choosing Special Activities in the top menu next to”Calendar”. (Or clicking on the link in this paragraph) There’s also a little help for new Zoom users, below.

ZOOM!

We try to make access to Sundays via Zoom available. Crafts and Sabbats never work well. But if you are sick or tired or far away, you can still join us. You can be in jammies with wet hair and never show your face!

Maybe it’s not something you’ve done before! Our events tell you where the “Zoom Room” is but that doesn’t mean anything if you haven’t used it before and you don’t want to look stupid or try to figure it out. It’s pretty easy. You don’t need an account with Zoom. Generally most use a computer but you can link in with your phone, it’s just a little different. These steps should get you there with a computer:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Desktop Client. (follow the link)
  2. Click Join.
  3. Enter your name It’s nice to know what to call you but you don’t have to use your real name).
  4. Select the Turn off my video check box if you want to disable your video before you log on – this makes your part of the screen appear as a black box with your name in it to others.
  5. Select the Do not connect to audio check box. We try to stay on mute unless we are specifically speaking.
  6. Click Join.

Pages with photos. For now these are in the public section but some may eventually move to the members only section. Click the button below.

COUNCIL BLOG!! Check out this new section of the website! Council members will be posting thoughts in a running blog. “Midweek Moments”, as they were called in the Virtual days, are now found in the blog in written form. You can also post comments on any entry. COUNCIL BLOG HERE or click “Council Blog” under the Top Menu item: Council.

***Council Blog is one of the parts of the website reserved for those who have signed up with the website. You never have to join but if you want access to the Blog and to the Forums for discussions open to website members (with follow up information on crafts, discussions and rituals), you do need to sign up. ***

The Forums are ready for use. Be the first to start a topic! Leave Yahoos and Prayer requests! See what others have said and if you want to comment! It looks pretty bare right now, so step on up and say hi! You can reach the Forums from THIS LINK or from the menu at the top of each page. There are no rules posted on the page but all posts are subject to the Code of Conduct and common sense. If you write something hateful, it will be deleted without apology. Contact Council if you have concerns about someone’s post or if you have questions about what happened to your post or if you have any trouble getting the sections to work.

Also, like the Council Blog, this is a section of the website restricted to only folks who have joined the website.

Please consider becoming a member of the website. This is NOT required to attend Covenant events. Some areas of the website will be available for members only such as Council Blogs and Member Forums and the membership directory. This will also help to contact you in the event we send out a group email. (Infrequent!)
Please go to the “JOIN COVENANT” PAGE

Coming back together is the best news.
We have so enjoyed all of the folks who were able to join us through Zoom over the past year. We are going to attempt to continue having Zoom available for at least some of our activities for those who are unable to attend in person. When we do meet in Zoom our room address will remain the same:
