Landings Park, off Boardwalk north of Harmony. It’s so pretty and has a view of the foothills, a playground, tennis courts, a picnic pavilion, bathrooms, and a ball field. There are two parking lots, one by the pavilion and one on the other side of the playground. And Covenant of the River has been keeping it clean for well over 10 years. There are two signs there to tell others about our contribution.
The walk is less than a mile and only takes an hour or less. We only pick up trash, no animal waste. Many hands make light work and it’s fun to talk as we go. Hands on environmentalism.
Arrive at 5:00 for the potluck in the Pavilion. Bring something to share if you can. After dinner we will walk around picking up trash returning to the Pavilion for the evening’s activities (TBD).
