Winter hours for park cleanup continue meaning we meet at Landings Park (On Boardwalk near Harmony) at 3:30 in the Shelter House for an hour or so of picking up litter. Covenant of the River is the official sponsor of Landings Park so we want to make sure it looks and IS a nice space. We usually finish before 5:30 s0 you will have time to do something else before the evening activities. Landings Park is beautiful all year round and it is so fun to hang out with friends, acquaintences and folks you just met while making the park cleaner. Gloves and bags are provided or bring your own if you prefer as well as a bottle of water if you like. For more information on Landings Park, click here. Everyone is welcome to attend this outdoor freeform activity. Later, our usual Sunday gathering, also open to everyone, will be a coloring meditation with Jean. These are popular and relaxing. Let you hands create something while your mind drifts away to a more peaceful place. Coloring pages and colored pencils will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Arrive at 5:30 at River Hall (901 E Swallow) for socializing and to eat if you want to bring your own food. The evening will start at 6:00 with announcement, yahoos, and prayer requests. Some things to remember… please park on Swallow, not in the cul-de-sac… Please read the Code Of Conduct before your first visit to Covenant of the River… gifts to support this community are always welcome and can come in many forms like firewood, mead, monies, time and lighters… monetary donations can be made in the donation basket in the Hall or through PayPal on our website.
