Letting Go and Park Cleanup

01/21/2024 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

People mock Queen Elsa’s song “Let it Go”, but it’s an idea that is harder to incorporate into our lives than we wish.  From cleaning out for the new year, to downsizing, life changes, and even people you might need to let go of, it’s an idea that we can all use support on carrying it out.   Join Chel tonight for a roundtable on the idea of letting go.  Bring your stories, encouragement, questions, concerns, and requests for help and advice.  It isn’t as easy as taking out the trash.

Before we get together for the discussion, it’s park cleanup time.  Sometimes people let it go at the park but forget to use the trash can, over at Landings Park.  This has been our adopted park to take care of for well over 10 years and it feels good to be with friends while you give back to the community and the environment.  We meet at Landings Park, off Boardwalk north of Harmony at 3:30.

The evening’s event at the Hall (901 E Swallow) begins at 5:30 with the potluck.  Bring something if you can.  The activities begin at 6pm.  Please park on Swallow, not the culdesac, and look for the yellow door on the far side of the garage.

Sometimes you know EXACTLY what the first thing is to let go of.  Then you get to try harder.
