May the blessings of the season be with us all! Imbolc is a celebration of light, of the fire in the hearth and the of setting goals for the coming Spring. Join us in the Hall for a family friendly ritual celebrating the industrious, the hibernating and the somewhere in between. We will make butter, share our gratitude and breathe life into our hopes for the turning of the Wheel.

Imbolc is one of the eight Sabbats on the Wheel of the Year, a celebration of earliest spring, candles, and usually, the Goddess Brigid. It is also a celebration of the time when the stock’s milk came in to nourish the new babies. There are many other ideas and traditions associated with this Sabbat. Across many traditions, Imbolc is a time of initiation and intention setting.
On Sabbats, the ritual is the feature of the evening. We do not have announcement, Yahoos, or Prayer requests so there will not be a time when the evening will be on Zoom. Thank you for understanding. If you need ideas on how to celebrate and honor this holyday in a solitary fashion, please reach out to Council.
Some things to remember… please park on Swallow, not in the cul-de-sac… masks are required for all indoor and crowded outdoor spaces… BYOM (bring your own meal) if you want to eat at the Hall between 530 and 6pm… please read the Code Of Conduct before your first visit to Covenant of the River… gifts to support this community are always welcome and can come in many forms like firewood, mead, monies, time and lighters… monetary donations can be made in the donation basket in the Hall or through PayPal on our website.
Ritual garb is suggested but not required.
