We do what we can when we are able. This is more than just a line of rhetoric you will hear at Covenant of the River. The leadership team at Covenant of the River is grateful for your presence and the way that you show up for each other first and foremost. Donations of time to clean, organize and restore the River Hall or Sanctuary are also great ways to give gift in our community. Covenant of the River depends on our friends in a myriad of ways to keep the church running.
If by chance you are financially able to donate to Covenant of the River you have a couple of options: a link at the bottom of most of the webpages to our PayPal donation account, the donation basket in the Hall and/or the Community Change Drive bucket which can also be found in the Hall. PayPal is easy and safe. The donation basket in the Hall to the left of the main altar. Our Community Change Drive bucket is just below the basket and every penny counts toward supporting someone through hard times.
Another question is: “how can WE help?” Covenant of the River is not usually in a position to provide financial assistance. The members of Council are here to listen, to give you space to share what’s going on and may be able to connect you with resources in the larger community. Please reach out.
OFFICE HOURS ARE IN-PERSON. In the Hall on the first Friday of each month, Council will be available from 7pm-9ish. Call ahead if you need us to stay later. If those hours do not work for you, please email Council and we will find a time that works.
