Yule Craft

Trinkets and treasures abound at this time of year… bring a bit of the yuletide magic into your home with an orange pomander, a small wreath or garland and a protection charm for the changing season. All supplies will be provided and you are encouraged to bring items that are pertinent to your path or pieces. If you have supplies to share, they will also be appreciated.
A pomander is an orange stuck with cloves and can be used as a protective charm. It smells really nice and can be decorated to become a gift.
A wreath or garland can be imbued with all kinds of magic and left on the door, table or windowsill to boost ritual, calm nerves or ward against unwanted guests. Subtle and attractive, a holiday decoration can easily be asked to help make your gatherings or household a little smoother for the holidays
A protective charm can be almost anything. At Covenant crafting events, we usually make these as strings of beads with particular patterns or stones with metaphysical meanings and then encourage folx to hang them where they will be unobtrusive. We will have several options for beads (some stone, some decorative) and some trinkets for charms.
We will begin the evening with our potluck feast so please bring a dish or beverage to share, as you are able. Please do not let a lack of contribution to the feast keep you from joining us. All utensils and such will be provided.
We are back at 2800 Crystal Court in Fort Collins for this event. Please be mindful of the driveways in the culdesac and be prepared to park out on the adjacent streets. If you need more accessible parking, please reach out to Jean.
