Theosophy and Cultural Misappropriation Discussion

There are many faiths that agree on a great many things. Overlapping ideas and practices. Sometimes we may even think we have an original thought, and then find that this thing we have added to our own spiritual journey has existed in some other culture or religion for a long time. So how do we balance these things without stepping into the territory of cultural misappropriation? Let’s discuss.
