Happy Easter! It’s going to be a great day to be outdoors together! Please note the time is different than on usual Sundays. (1:00 pm)
It has returned! A day to help clean up the Sanctuary, home to so many of our rituals and events. It has been so long due to the pandemic and the space is URGENTLY in need of cleaning and sprucing. There are not going to be so many weeds as there are later in the summer but the Honeylocust tree which hangs over the Sanctuary has blessed the space with oodles of giant seed pods. Come help recharge the Sanctuary with positive, caring energy!
This will be our Sunday activity but it will start much earlier at 1:00pm. Bring gloves and any gardening tools you think would be helpful. Please eat lunch before you come. We will end the afternoon around 5:00pm with time to eat together. NOT a potluck. Please bring a dinner that doesn’t need refrigeration or plan to have food delivered around 5.
The Sanctuary we have today is due to all the people who came before us and the work they did over the years to make sure the space is awesome. Now we must be the stewards for ourselves and for the future.
Some things to remember… please park on Swallow, not in the cul-de-sac… masks are required for all indoor and crowded outdoor spaces… please read the Code Of Conduct before your first visit to Covenant of the River… gifts to support this community are always welcome and can come in many forms like firewood, mead, monies, time and lighters… monetary donations can be made in the donation basket in the Hall or through PayPal on our website.
