Park Cleanup & Your elevator speech

It’s May , which means we switch to holding our entire Sunday evening at Landings Park on park cleanup days! We’ll gather at 5, share in our potluck feast and then walk the 8 acres we adopted in 2007. After the grounds are cared for, we will engage in discussion around explaining your faith in the shortest amount of time possible and still representing yourself authentically.

The elevator speech has been used as a way to sell something quick and with conviction. Whether it’s a for a job, a date or a political view .. we all know the pressure of having to educate and persuade a stranger or superior. Could you explain your faith walk in less than five minutes?

Please bring work gloves and wear closed toe shoes. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended.

As you are able, please bring a dish and/or beverage to share. Dishes, utensils and drinking water is provided by Covenant of the River.
