Park Cleanup and Food Traditions Discussion

Winter Park Cleanup! 330 at the park, 530 at Crystal Court for our discussion.

Watch for updates if the weather isn’t kind. Provided that it’s safe to be outside, we will meet at Landings Park at 330pm and walk our 8 acres of adopted space. Please dress for the weather, bring work gloves and a water bottle.

We gather at 2800 Crystal Court at 530pm for our potluck and discussion.

You are welcome to join us at Crystal Court whether or not you come to the park clean-up.

The topic for this evening’s discussion is the significance of food in cultural and spiritual practices.  Do you have foods that are a significant part of your spiritual practice? Are you preparing dishes from a family recipe book? Have you experienced sacred foods from unfamiliar cultures or traditions? Bring your stories, knowledge, curiosities and recipe cards!

Remember to be mindful of the neighbors when you park. Many folx will need to plan on parking on adjacent streets, not in the culdesac.
