Join Jordan tonight for a presentation about the Lunar New Year. There will also be a ritual. Sometimes called “Chinese New Year” it is a holiday that is celebrated in many Asian cultures and in various ways, not just in China. 2023 will be the Year of the Rabbit.
It is an auspicious occasion to wear the color red. There will be an ancestor altar if you wish, you may bring something to put on it that reminds you of your ancestors or loved ones passed.
Begin arriving around 5:30pm for fellowship and food (if you bring your own snack or dinner). The evening’s activities will begin around 6:00pm. Please park on Swallow and follow the sidewalk around to the yellow door on the far side of the garage.
