Full Moon
December 15 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm MST
**Different start time***
The last full moon of 2024 brings the year of moon cycles to a close and gives us another opportunity to take stock of our accomplishments and stumbles from the last year. The light reflecting from the full moon can bring a much needed change of perspective or line of sight on an issue. We will be expressing gratitude and setting some intentions for the coming moon cycle. We gather to honor and celebrate the culmination of the year, to reflect on how our ‘garden’ grows and where the path is leading us.
We are going to flip things for this full moon and attempt to watch her rise during our ritual. Hopefully the clouds will play nice. We’ll gather at 3 for snacks and fellowship, then circle around sunset to watch the moonrise over the park.
While we will not be there long after dark, please wear/bring layers and socks appropriate for the weather. Big cloaks and lap blankets encouraged. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the pavilions, so sensible shoes are recommended.
Please bring snacks and beverages to share. Covenant will provide plates, utensils, drinking water and such.
Donations to offset the cost of ritual supplies are always appreciated. While dollars are certainly acceptable we are also always in need of incense, maypole ribbons and sharpies.
Cottonwood Glen Park- follow the path from the parking lot over the bridge toward the basket ball courts and ball fields- the path curves to the left and the big pavilions are there by the bathroom (which may not be open)
