Friendsgiving and Turkey Races
November 28 @ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm MST
While the history of the holiday has many unsavory connotations, it is always a good day to get together with friends and family to be thankful. So we are once again having Friendsgiving at Rose’s house. Please contact Council for the address.
You can pop in for a half hour or stay all day. You can show up at 12 on the dot or at 430. This is a day of honoring community and we will be glad to see you whenever you show up.
The signup sheet is here, please be cautious not to edit anyone else’s entries, and if you do by accident please remember there is an undo button. Consider bringing enough of your dish or beverage to serve around 20 people. If you are unable to bring something to share, for whatever reason, please join us anyway. We will update folx about our estimated attendance as the day gets closer.
12pm doors open- yard or table games, appetizers and fellowship, table art
2pm Turkey Races! Bet on your favorite wind-up butterball while wearing tissue paper crowns… you know you want in on this fabulous Covenant of the River tradition!
4pm (in theory) Ring the dinner bell and line up for the Covenant Turkey Day feast! All offerings will have labels with major allergens. You are encouraged to ask if you need more information about food dishes.
Families, friends, kids, misfits, and stranded travelers are all welcome at this gathering. If you know someone doesn’t have a table to go to, please invite them to ours.
