This week we will begin early and make a trek and tour of the Drala Mountain Center. The Drala Center is near Red Feather Lakes. It used be called the Shambala Center but the group has changed their name. It’s the same group of people and the same beautiful Stupa. Jordan will be giving us the free tour so there will not be any cost for the visit. Bring a sack lunch and your water bottle. This is an outdoor walking tour on dirt paths, so wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather.
We encourage carpooling and will be meeting at the Hall around 9:30am with the intention of leaving the Hall at 10am. The drive is just a little less than an hour so if you intend to meet us there please let us know and then meet us in the main parking lot around 11am.
The Center’s website is here: DRALA CENTER if you want to know more about it and see a map of how to get there. There is a very detailed page on their site as a guide to all visitors here: https://www.dralamountain.org/campus/visit-us/
Make special note that they do not allow any dogs at all on the grounds and they ask you to remove shoes when entering any permanent buildings except the bathrooms and dining hall. The gift shop does not open until 1pm, so we will visit that on our way out.
