Turkey Day/Friendsgiving
While there is much weight behind the modern American view of the holiday and the tales we were taught as children that surround it, there is always much we have to be thankful for, and we will use any excuse to gather together in fellowship.
Please sign up using this spreadsheet to let us know what you will be bringing before Nov 22 so that Council has time to find any gaps in our menu and fill them. When listing the # of people please include yourself, this gives us all an idea of how many people to expect, so we better know how much food to make. Please do not edit anyone else’s entries.
Our host humbly requests that everyone remove their shoes in the home, so please plan ahead for that (shoes that are hard to remove may not be the best option).
We will have the TV on with some football early, we will have paper on the tables for coloring/crafting, and you won’t want to miss the annual turkey races! We will aim to have all food on the tables by 4:30.
