Beaver Full Moon 2025
The cold time approaches. Life gets harder for beings of all types when the day is shorter and the light grows dim.
This moon is named the Beaver Full Moon, for the season wherein the beavers prepared their dams for winter, and also for the season in which the Algonquin tribes set out to trap them for their fur.
Harvest is done, and notions of staying warm by gathering together are prevalent. We rely on our community when things get hard, and tonight we gather to celebrate.
