DESCRIPTION:Though it were just this single tongue\nThat bent to sing the praises\nOf Luck\, his skills\, forever young\,\nCould not help but amaze us. \nWhen asked his craft\, the crafts he had\nWere listed for the sentry.\n’Twas numberless they were\, full glad\nThe gods to grant him entry \nAnd so it later was when need\nArose and king was lamed\nThat he it was stepped forth to lead\nAnd was the one they named. \nFor Luck in all things did excel:\nIn chess\, in war\, in song—\nAnd still today\, when all goes well\nIs when he tags along. \nLughnasadh is an ancient Gaelic festival celebrated on August 1st\, marking the beginning of the harvest season and celebrating the Sun God Lugh. \nAs a harvest festival we will be opening the doors a little early for more social time before we circle round to celebrate. Doors open at 4 with potluck. Ritual will begin at 6. Ritual garb encouraged but never required. Drums and instruments and noise makers are very welcome for this holiday\, Lugh was after all a musician. \n2800 Crystal Court\nPlease plan to park on adjacent streets. Bring a dish and/or beverage to share in the potluck as you are able\, but as always we would rather you be with us either way.
