DESCRIPTION:Winter Park Cleanup! 330 at the park\, 530 at Crystal Court for our discussion. \nWatch for updates if the weather isn’t kind. Provided that it’s safe to be outside\, we will meet at Landings Park at 330pm and walk our 8 acres of adopted space. Please dress for the weather\, bring work gloves and a water bottle. \nWe gather at 2800 Crystal Court at 530pm for our potluck and discussion. \nYou are welcome to join us at Crystal Court whether or not you come to the park clean-up. \nThe topic for this evening’s discussion is the significance of food in cultural and spiritual practices.  Do you have foods that are a significant part of your spiritual practice? Are you preparing dishes from a family recipe book? Have you experienced sacred foods from unfamiliar cultures or traditions? Bring your stories\, knowledge\, curiosities and recipe cards! \nRemember to be mindful of the neighbors when you park. Many folx will need to plan on parking on adjacent streets\, not in the culdesac. \nPlease reach out to Council with any concerns or questions.

SUMMARY:Who's your Sun God?
DESCRIPTION:Time for some story telling\, some show n tell and maybe even a tri-fold poster! \nMany\, if not all\, cultural and spiritual traditions around the world recognize the Sun as giving humans life\, strength and hope. Most give a deity (or two) in their pantheon the attributes and features that we would correlate with our day star. Show us yours! Or choose one that might be lesser known and teach us! \nParticipation is not required to attend but I hope you will consider sharing your solar god with us in some fashion. This could be reading from their mythos or recounting  one of their hero stories. Maybe you have a statue or other art that travels easily and represents your deity well. Perhaps you would enjoy making  an informative poster? \nWe start the evening at 530pm with a potluck at 2800 Crystal Court. Sun god sharing starts around 630. \nPlease be mindful of the neighbors when you park. Do not block driveways or right of ways. Plan to park on adjacent streets.

SUMMARY:Yule Ritual
DESCRIPTION:Solstice.. Yule.. The longest night of the year inspires both reflection on our past and future planning for the next season. The Sunrise on Yule morning reminds us that there is almost always a tomorrow. \nYou are invited to join us in honoring the Solstice on December 21 at 530pm \nThis evening will be kid friendly and indoors. Ritual garb is encouraged but not required. We will be using an indoor fireplace in ritual. \nAs with most Covenant events\, we will begin the evening with a potluck feast. As you are able\, please a dish and/or beverage to share. Traditional Yule dishes are encouraged as are family favorite snacks or desserts! If you are unable to bring a dish\, that is okay. Please join us anyhow. There is enough to share at our table. \nWe are gathering at 2800 Crystal Court. Please plan to park on the adjacent streets\, being very mindful of the neighbors’ driveways. \n\n530 gather\n615 prepping for the ritual\n645 ritual begins\n\nIf\, for whatever reason\, you need to arrive late please slip in quietly and enjoy yourself. SUMMARY:White Elephant Gift Exchange
DESCRIPTION:An annual tradition for Covenant is our gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift worth no more than $20 and come enjoy the game of the gift exchange. Re-gifting is encouraged\, maybe you have a ritual tool you no longer use\, or that candle isn’t a scent you want\, or maybe you assemble a cookie baking kit\, whatever it is please do not break the bank. The point is to have fun and gather together to wrap out the year with a fun gift giving game together. \n2800 Crystal Court @ 530pm \nWe will begin with our usual potluck\, please bring something to share\, dishes and utensils will be provided. \n
