DESCRIPTION:We all have a piece of art\, poetry\, or music that moves us deeply. Many times those works of art will also tie to some aspect of our faith or spiritual practices. Tonight we are asking you to share those with the group. Bring a piece of music\, art\, poetry\, or prose to share with the group. It can be spiritual to you\, or not\, just something deeply meaningful for you. \nWe will try to keep each piece short <7 minutes\, and then will talk about why we chose to bring this piece to share. \nWe will begin the evening with our customary potluck\, please bring a dish to share if you can but never let it keep you away if you can’t. \nWe will be at Pat’s house. 2800 Crystal Court \nPlease be conscientious of the neighbors\, do not block driveways or get in the neighbor’s way. If you require a closer parking spot please contact Council@covenantoftheriver.org in advance so we can make a spot in the driveway available to you.

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate Litha! \nJean will be leading the celebration of Litha and heralding the dying of the Oak King. You are invited to walk the circle with intentions for the coming shadow season\, mark your way forward with a rune and celebrate the height of summer with Covenant of the River at Landings Park. \nDuring the Summer months we have the pleasure of hosting our entire gathering at Landings Park. We gather under the pavilion to start the gathering with a potluck feast. After we eat\, we will walk the eight acre park collecting trash. Once Landings Park has been cleaned up a bit\, we’ll hold our ritual. \nThis is always a kid friendly event\, with the playground so close to the pavilion and bathrooms! Please bring a dish to share\, as you able. No glass. Covenant will provide dishes\, utensils and drinking water.
