SUMMARY:Altar Box Craft
DESCRIPTION:We will be making small altar boxes. Sometimes called an altar in a box\, sometimes called a portable altar\, the base of this is an existing cardboard box that we will then decorate inside and out\, to allow us a handy storage vessel for all our altar implements. \nWe will begin with our traditional potluck at 5:30\, so bring something to share if you are able. Then will begin the craft around 6:15. All materials will be provided\, however if you have a specific material (cloth\, or paper\, gems\, box\, etc) you wish to use you can do that as well. \nPat is graciously letting us use his home again: 2800 Crystal Court in Fort Collins. Please be mindful of the sidewalks and driveways in the cul-de-sac. We must be good guests. Many folx will need to park on the adjacent streets. If you need more accessible parking\, please reach out to Council.

DESCRIPTION:Theosophy is the concept that some ideas and beliefs are universal\, shared by many cultures and religions\, born of an innate connection to the universe\, the divine\, and each other. Some things are just human. In contrast how do we deal with cultural misappropriation within the Pagan sphere? As we learn and grow and study religions around the world\, how can we honor\, without overstepping and misappropriating from another culture? That will be our discussion this evening. \nPlease bring a dish and/or beverage to share in the feast\, as you are able. But never let not bringing a dish keep you from a gathering. \nLocation TBD.
