DESCRIPTION:The seed cracking open\, the milk becoming butter\, the four legged newborn stumbling toward their mother… Can anticipation and determination sustain us through the late Winter? \nThis ritual gathering will be family friendly and open to all. Ritual garb is encouraged\, not required. \n\n530-Potluck & fellowship\n615-Imbolc Ritual\n800-Sumbl\n\nWe will be at 2800 Crystal Court. Please be mindful of driveways and sidewalk access when you park. Keep in mind that some folx may need to park on the adjacent streets. It is important to maintain good relations with our neighbors! If you need more accessible parking\, please reach out to Council. \nAs you are able\, please bring a dish or beverage to share in the potluck feast. \nIf you are planning to stay for Sumbl\, a Norse ritual honoring community\, consider bringing a chalice or horn to use. Cups will be available for those who need one. \n

SUMMARY:Full Moon Social
DESCRIPTION:Full Moons are a great time to be reflective\, or work magic\, but they can also be a great time to just bond with community. This month we will be doing a Full Moon Social and enjoy each other’s company. We will make some time to go outside and gaze into the Full Moon light. But the majority of the event will simply be getting to know one another a little better\, and talking about what matters to us most in the moment. \nTonight will be a little different for us\, we will be having our gathering at Pitchers Brewery and Sports Restaurant. At the corner of Drake and Shields. They serve a full menu of food including appetizers\, and a wide variety of drinks for all ages. This is a place where you will often see an entire family including kids eating together\, so while it looks like a bar\, all ages are welcome. DESCRIPTION:**The Park cleanup portion of the evening has been cancelled due to recent snow\, as we would not be able to see the trash to pick it up. Please still join us at 5:30 for potluck and discussion. See address below.** \nRecently when talking to a group of students at CSU they were almost astounded when I told them that many Pagans believe in science and the importance of trusting medical experts. They expressed that when they heard Paganism was about honoring and worshiping nature\, and that Pagans seek to live closer to the land\, they fully expected to hear what they called a “crunchy” speech about alternative medicine and staying away from doctors. \nTonight we will talk about how Paganism fits into our larger world view\, in particular how it effects our own moral philosophies\, and our views of science and the modern world. \nLocation for the Discussion and potluck at 5:30 will be Pat’s House again\, 2800 Crystal Court. Please be considerate of the neighbors and make sure when you park you are not blocking anyone in. If you need to park in the driveway please contact Council in advance to make arrangements.

SUMMARY:Fireside
DESCRIPTION:To gather and hold sacred space for one another is a great privilege that is denied to many. \nFireside is just such an opportunity for our community. You are invited to join us for an afternoon of casual Pagan fellowship around a fire. \nWhile the gathering is casual\, folx are encouraged to bring items to burn as they need or want. Burning items can be to lift up prayers\, to release that which no longer serves or to honor the passing of a loved one. If you want to burn something please make sure it is safe\, legal and yours to burn while fitting inside a fairly normal backyard fire pit. There will also be pieces of bark for folx who are moved to burn a token after they arrive. \nThis a family friendly event and all are encouraged to show up/stay/leave on whatever timeline suits your day. Please dress in layers\, bring a blanket to wrap yourself in and don’t forget your hat(s)! Snacks or beverages to share are appreciated but not required. \n4-7pm @ 2800 Crystal Court \nRemember to be mindful about where you park- driveways and sidewalks must be respected.
