SUMMARY:Yule Craft
DESCRIPTION:Trinkets and treasures abound at this time of year… bring a bit of the yuletide magic into your home with an orange pomander\, a small wreath or garland and a protection charm for the changing season. All supplies will be provided and you are encouraged to bring items that are pertinent to your path or pieces. If you have supplies to share\, they will also be appreciated. \nA pomander is an orange stuck with cloves and can be used as a protective charm. It smells really nice and can be decorated to become a gift. \nA wreath or garland can be imbued with all kinds of magic and left on the door\, table or windowsill to boost ritual\, calm nerves or ward against unwanted guests. Subtle and attractive\, a holiday decoration can easily be asked to help make your gatherings or household a little smoother for the holidays \nA protective charm can be almost anything. At Covenant crafting events\, we usually make these as strings of beads with particular patterns or stones with metaphysical meanings and then encourage folx to hang them where they will be unobtrusive.  We will have several options for beads (some stone\, some decorative) and some trinkets for charms. \nWe will begin the evening with our potluck feast so please bring a dish or beverage to share\, as you are able. Please do not let a lack of contribution to the feast keep you from joining us. All utensils and such will be provided. \nWe are back at 2800 Crystal Court in Fort Collins for this event. Please be mindful of the driveways in the culdesac and be prepared to park out on the adjacent streets. SUMMARY:Full Moon
DESCRIPTION:**Different start time*** \nThe last full moon of 2024 brings the year of moon cycles to a close and gives us another opportunity to take stock of our accomplishments and stumbles from the last year. The light reflecting from the full moon can bring a much needed change of perspective or line of sight on an issue. We will be expressing gratitude and setting some intentions for the coming moon cycle. We gather to honor and celebrate the culmination of the year\, to reflect on how our ‘garden’ grows and where the path is leading us. \nWe are going to flip things for this full moon and attempt to watch her rise during our ritual. Hopefully the clouds will play nice. We’ll gather at 3 for snacks and fellowship\, then circle around sunset to watch the moonrise over the park. \nWhile we will not be there long after dark\, please wear/bring layers and socks appropriate for the weather. Big cloaks and lap blankets encouraged. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the pavilions\, so sensible shoes are recommended. \nPlease bring snacks and beverages to share. Covenant will provide plates\, utensils\, drinking water and such. \nDonations to offset the cost of ritual supplies are always appreciated. While dollars are certainly acceptable we are also always in need of incense\, maypole ribbons and sharpies. \nCottonwood Glen Park- follow the path from the parking lot over the bridge toward the basket ball courts and ball fields- the path curves to the left and the big pavilions are there by the bathroom (which may not be open) \n  \n  \n

Looking for Pagan fellowship and a sacred fire? \nWhile the fire has many purposes\, people often bring items that represent or correlate to things they want to release or pray for to burn. Please remember that if you want to burn something it must fit inside an average fire pit AND be legal\, safe\, yours to burn. \nWe are at 2800 Crystal Court for this gathering. Please be mindful of the driveways in the culdesac. Most folx will need to plan on parking on the adjacent streets. If you need more accessible parking\, please contact Jean. \nWe will be outdoors for this event unless the weather is intolerable. Please wear layers\, good socks and bring lap blankets or cloaks. DESCRIPTION:We will be doing our annual gift exchange. Bring something to put in the gift pile\, feel free to re-gift\, or put in a tool you no longer use. Gag gifts\, ritual tools\, snacks\, or just something cute are all good options. If you are purchasing something we recommend keeping your budget under $20. If you cannot bring a gift please reach out to Council and we will have one for you.
