End: 07/21/2019 4:00 pm

Yay more camping! This time at one of our favorite go-to locations near the CSU Mountain Campus, the “Pingree Meadow”.

Please follow your gps toward the coordinates posted above in the ‘location’ section, and keep your eyes open for the green ‘Covenant of the River’ signs. Council will be heading up early Thursday to secure a spot but we never really know what spaces will be available.

If you are new to the group, please attend at least one other Covenant gathering before attending one of our camping trips with us.

Tuesday July 23, 2019
Start: 07/23/2019 7:00 pm

We will gather to play some casual games with friends and like-minded folks. Please bring a snack and/or beverage to share. We have a collection of games already but feel free to bring your favorite board/dice/card game with you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to write [email protected]

Friday July 26, 2019
Start: 07/26/2019 7:00 pm

The Council will be at the Hall, and available to answer questions, address concerns, help you with a ritual, or just lend and ear to whatever is on your mind.
Please feel free to drop in at any point in the evening 7 to 10pm.

Remember to park on Swallow Road, not on the cul-de-sac.

Sunday July 28, 2019
Start: 07/28/2019 1:00 pm

We will gather under the pavilion at Landings Park for an afternoon of games and fun while also caring for our adopted park. Three-legged sack races, stone throw, cornhole, obstacle course, and more. Yes, these games are heavy on the “Neo” side of Neo-Highland games. Games for all ages and ability levels.

Please note the special start time of 1pm.

Please bring a dish and/or beverage to share in our potluck feast. All dishes, utensils and drinking water are provided. The day will be kid friendly.

Thursday August 01, 2019
Start: 08/01/2019 7:00 pm
End: 08/01/2019 8:30 pm

Join us as we celebrate the first harvest Sabbat, Lammas (Lughnasadh). This will be the adult ritual. The family friendly celebration will be August 4th. This Sabbat celebrates the first harvest of seeds and the Celtic god, Lugh. This is not a potluck. If you would like to bring snacks to share, please do.

Hopefully we will have good weather and can be outside in Sanctuary. Please gather at 7pm and we will begin at 7:30pm. It will be a lovely starry dark night without a moon. Ritual garb is desired but certainly not required.

Sunday August 11, 2019
Start: 08/11/2019 5:00 pm

We will gather under the pavilion at our adopted park, Landings Park for park care, dinner and conversation. We will be having a discussion related to the topic of “an it harm none, do what ye will.” A part of the Wiccan tradition, other pagans also adhere to this directive. But not all favor this “rule”. What reasons are there both for and against? Covenant is made up of people who are from different traditions, who have different ideas. It might be that everyone of us has a slightly different path and all mindsets are welcomed. Come share your ideas on this topic.

Tuesday August 13, 2019
Start: 08/13/2019 7:00 pm

Each month the Council, Jean Jordan and Chel, get together to schedule Covenant of the River events, write rituals, outline presentations and discuss general community business. We would appreciate your ideas on activities, topics or crafts that could enrich our community. You can present these ideas whether you want to lead or collaborate or have the Council lead.

Please send your ideas to Council before the meeting begins.

Thursday August 15, 2019
Start: 08/15/2019 5:00 pm

Fireside will start at 5pm as usual, with sacred space available for those who need to talk or burn things. We will also be setting up the Sanctuary for the Full Moon Ritual which will begin around 8pm.

● ● ●
Lucky us! The full moon falls on the night of Jean’s Fireside. Double blessings. There will be a full moon ritual. A late rise (8:30 pm) may mean we will feel the moon’s energy with us but will not be able to see her until we drive home.

A “save the date” announcement. More information, including the time, will be updated by Jean.

Sunday August 18, 2019
Start: 08/18/2019 1:00 pm

The magical energy of our Sanctuary Circle. We are so blessed to have this space for fires and rituals. Come help us take care of it! No expectations about what you should do. You don’t have to kneel or weed or chop. Tasks are available to all levels of ability. Stay as long as you are able.
