Stars, dirt and camp fires..

We will be camping near Red Feather Lakes. To find us follow this map, or the directions. As always look for the green NCCR signs just off the road. Hope to see you there.

***Please be sure to click on the word “Camping” above (in this box) to see all the important information about this event****

Please follow your gps toward the coordinates posted above in the ‘location’ section, and keep your eyes open for the green ‘Covenant of the River’ signs. Council will be heading up early to secure a spot but we never really know what spaces will be available. Directions with photos are being updated this year, watch for those to be added before this camping trip is upon us.

Please print, complete and bring the attached liability waiver if you have not already given us one. All of your information will be kept strictly confidential. Please note: One liability waiver is needed for each person, each year that they go camping with us. So your 2018 waiver does not count, but if you attend all of our camping trips you only need 1 waiver for the entire camping season.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Council using the link “Contact Us” at the top of the page.

Fantastic Time!

I had a delightful time this weekend with you all!

I’ve got a bunch of chicken breast I can bring camping! Does anyone have some veggies and cooking ideas that we can make a meal out of?

Stir fry sounds good, and lots of veggies take well to a bit of olive oil, spices, and dry heat. I’ll be bringing up an assortment as well.

Chicken could also be done with some lemon and veggies in foil packets for some steaming. I was going to bring some citrus anyway.

Adding veggies, eating together

Cat, as discussed on our call, I’m bringing veggies and sauce to make stir fry outta that!

Blessings on your week, pjc

Chicken ideas

We kind of had a similar issue/thought. What to do with chicken breast camping? We came up with chicken soft tacos. Not sure if we’re going to do that, but maybe if we want to combine we could do something with that line of thought?
