I am hoping to hold space for folks to come watch flames dance, burn that thing you need to release and share the weights of life. A conversation around a fire with tribe has helped many of us to find peace and for others it has created common ground.

We will probably gather in the warm Hall but if you intend to visit the fire, please dress for the weather. Food to share will be appreciated but there will not be a structured time for potluck.

Sunday November 19, 2017

As pagans we honor our gods and beloved entities with sacrificial offerings- usually bread and/or alcohol, but an offering can take many forms. Beads, poetry and pennies could be more appropriate at times with certain deities. It is a gift energetically given to show our appreciation for the life we share with them.
Almost every religious or spiritual practice has some form offering that is traditional and familiar to it’s practitioners. From cooked rice to foreign coins to blood sacrifice, tonight we will be looking at different pagan traditions and how they give offerings.
